Forgivness
I would forgive them, because if everyone would have tried to get in the boats, they would have tipped over and killed everyone. The captin should be put in prison for murder because he knew the iceburg was there, but he just kept going until it was to late. Everyone should be mad at him and not be mad at the people in the life boats. And the captin of the ship that didnt come to help them should be took to prison also for not helping, he could also be charged with murder

i agree that both captains are at fault. Yet the people that left with empty seats on their life boats are very responsible for atleast half the deaths of the titanic.
